2026-2027 Sculpture Garden Exhibition

The Arts Council Wichita Falls opens the 22nd annual Sculpture Garden exhibit at the Kemp Center for the Arts on May 9, 2026.

EXHIBIT DETAILS • Duration: Sculptures will be on display for 12 months from installation in May 2026. Artwork must remain on display for the entirety of the exhibit. • Stipends: Artists will be provided with an exhibition stipend totaling $1500 (one thousand five hundred), to be paid $750 on completed installation and $750 on completed deinstallation. • Awards: Three cash awards will be given: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes ($2500, $1500, $500). These awards will be announced at the opening reception. Award money will be distributed within 30 days of judging. • Reception: Artists are expected to attend the opening reception on May 9, 2026. Artists attending the opening reception will be provided with 1 (one) hotel room for up to 2 (two) nights. • Deinstallation: Artists will be notified of their pick-up date and time by the installer no less than 30 days prior to removal date in 2027.
