Amor Eterno / Eternal Love — a group exhibition inspired by Juan Gabriel's beloved ballad, exploring love, loss, and remembrance. Opening Sat. Oct. 17, 3–6PM. Curated by Rebeca Guerrero. About Amor Eterno / Eternal Love takes its name and its heart from one of the most beloved songs in the Latin canon — Juan Gabriel's timeless ballad of love that transcends death. Curated by Rebeca Guerrero, this group exhibition brings together 22 artists whose works explore the enduring bonds we carry for those we have lost: grief rendered as beauty, memory made visible, love that does not end. The exhibition opens with a featured work by Margaret Garcia — The Happy Couple , a luminous oil painting of two skulls leaning into one another, joyful and unafraid — and unfolds across paintings, prints, altars, and mixed media by artists Margaret Garcia, Jose Antonio Aguirre, MAJA, Will Loya, Heather Hoggan, Suzanne Urquiza, Ester Petschar, Sandro Garcia, Victoria Arriola, Sandra Posada, Joe Franco, Ruberth Agamez, Alberto Izurieta, Selene Hernandez, Gia Hernandez, Aydee Valle Amezcua, Tina Marie Arroyos, Beth Peterson, Margarita Medina, Tigre Fino, Erick, and a community altar by Lea Chavez.
