About Opening on September 18, 2026, Aperture’s new home at 380 Columbus Avenue features a bookstore and gallery with a rotation of intimate photography presentations and a dynamic calendar of programming. The inaugural installation, Aperture Loves New York , pays tribute to photographers who have shaped—and been shaped by—the city. Organized by Aperture’s executive director, Sarah Meister, the installation features photographs by more than twenty artists, including Diane Arbus, Tina Barney, Dawoud Bey, Robert Frank, Deana Lawson, Carrie Mae Weems, and many more. Adjacent to the gallery, the flagship bookstore stocks seven decades of select Aperture publications, and is hosting Dashwood Books—New York City’s only independent bookstore devoted entirely to photography—who are offering a robust selection of titles.
