Body/Land Exchange by Jody Pinto

Art Lot presents Jody Pinto's outdoor sculpture installation Body/Land Exchange, a pair of structures connected by a weather-responsive system, concurrent with the artist's first institutional retrospective at moCa Cleveland. About OPENING RECEPTION BROOKLYN, NY - THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 5–8PM "Body/Land Exchange" by Jody Pinto "Two structures face each other. They are alike yet different. They are connected by a body-land exchange. It is a transfusion of rain through a sluice system. They are dependent upon each other for life. A second exchange occurs when the project is watered by hand. It is alive—it has thirst." — Jody Pinto Art Lot is proud to present "Body/Land Exchange" in partnership with moCa Cleveland. This exhibition takes place in tandem with "Jody Pinto: Body/Land," the artist's first retrospective and first solo museum exhibition hosted by moCa Cleveland. Both shows are on view August 28, 2026–March 7, 2027. moCa Cleveland: "Jody Pinto: Body/Land" opening reception August 28, 6-9PM Art Lot, Brooklyn: "Body/Land Exchange" opening reception September 3, 5-8PM Read more Toggle Sculpture Installation
