Cabin Copy is a zine-style journal of handwritten essays, short stories, poems and drawings. Cabin Copy proposes handwriting as a form of drawing. Cabin Copy extends Cabin Contemporary’s notion of pedagogical potential available through the artist’s process. Cabin Copy is thematically open but with a concentration on philosophy, social theory, politics and mysticism. Jeffrey Grunthaner is a Berlin-based poet, guitarist, and critic from NYC. His work explores symbolism, memory, and perception across poetry, music, and art. Ghen Dennis is an experimental documentary filmmaker, media arts teacher, and a person who engages in supporting people and animals who are in trouble. She grew up in Alaska and she stood atop the Berlin Wall, once - she marches in the streets. Heather Bowlan is a writer, organizer, and fiercely loyal Philadelphian. Her writing has been published in the Anarchist Review of Books, the anthology Feminisms in Motion, New Ohio Review, Interim, and elsewhere. Heather's collection Highlights & Blackouts was published by _mixlit press in 2023. In 2026, she launched Philly Poetry LFG!!!, a newsletter highlighting the movers & shakers in Philly's many poetry communities. Joseph O’Neal (b.1983, North Carolina) paints non-objective imagery in conjunction with words, names, and dates, creating ambiguous fields of possibility. Living and working in Easton, Pennsylvania, O’Neal has participated in group and solo exhibitions throughout the United States, Europe, and Mexico. Jeb Stuart Johnston is a Health and Wellness Coach, mentor, researcher, songwriter, BJJ brown belt and MMA coach. He lives in Charleston, SC with his wife Sarah and their dogs, Bigsby and Georgia. David “Big Dutch” Nally is a self taught artist from Reading Pa. Born in 1960, he has been making art since the seventies. Michael Rimm survives at the base of Hawk Mountain on the Little Schuylkill River. He's blessed to be peacefully surrounded by nature, his orange-cat Bernie, and his wonderfully eclectic group of creative friends. If not for writing short-stories and poetry, he'd be a lot crazier than he already is. Bob McCormick paints and writes, and he lives nearby. He feels honored to share some of his being with the other artists in Cabin Contemporary’s Zine#1. Future Projects: Cabin Copy will be the final project of the 2026 Cabin Contemporary season. 2027 is already in the works!!! Cabin Contemporary encourages dialogue about contemporary art in the Appalachian Mountains of rural east central Pennsylvania. The project space focuses on installation, new media, painting and outsider art. Multidisciplinary artist and educator, Lance Rautzhan established Cabin Contemporary in June 2022. Cabin Contemporary is open by appointment only.
