Cadence

Boardwalk Gallery is proud to present its inaugural exhibition, Cadence, by Bristol-based artist Penfold. Bringing together the signature elements of the artist’s practice, the exhibition explores the relationship between physical space, movement, and the passage of time. About Penfold (Tim Gresham, b. 1987) is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Bristol, known for his graphic, abstract work spanning large-scale murals, canvas and sculpture. For the exhibition, Penfold has created a new body of work shown alongside earlier pieces, revisiting motifs and ideas from his practice when he first moved to Bristol 11 years ago. Returning to these early visual languages has allowed him to reconnect with ideas and narratives associated with that period of his life, while viewing them through the perspective of his evolving practice. Opening Night: Thursday 15th October 6:00 - 9:00pm Exhibition: 16th - 31st October (second week by appointment only) Read more Toggle Painting Mixed media Sculpture
