Cocktail & Guided Tour: Fractal: The Whole in Every Part

A guided tour by THIS IS NOT A WHITE CUBE for their 10th Anniversary Commemorative Exhibition, Fractal: The Whole in Every Part. About Ten years after its foundation in Luanda and five years after opening in Lisbon, THIS IS NOT A WHITE CUBE celebrates a decade of activity with an exhibition conceived to reflect on the gallery's trajectory. The exhibition moves away from the conventional model of a retrospective. Rather than chronologically organising ten years of history, it seeks to recognise the patterns, concerns and relationships that have re-emerged, in different configurations, throughout the gallery's programme, and to consider how they may continue to generate new developments.
