Congo Pavilion 2026: Simba Moto! Seize the fire!

This is with great pleasure that we announce the participation of Géraldine Tobe in the 61st International Art Exhibition “In Minor Keys”, curated by Koyo Kouoh. About Géraldine Tobé will be featured in the exhibition “Simba Moto! Seize the fire! Saisis le feu!”, curated by Nadia Yala Kisukidi for the Democratic Republic of Congo. Since 2012, Tobe has established herself as a significant voice on both the Congolese and international art scenes. Her work gained particular recognition during the 2018 Dakar Biennale and has since been presented in several solo exhibitions in Belgium, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Madagascar, and France. More recently, her work was included in "The True Size of Africa" at the Völklinger Hütte World Heritage Site in Germany, and at the Musée Rath in Geneva as part of the exhibition « Au-delà des apparences.
