DECENT HOMES FOR ALL: COLLABORATIVE BANNER MAKING WORKSHOP ️ FREE tickets️ Date: Sunday 19th April Time: 2-5pm Location: SET Social, Peckham, SE15 4NP No prior experience needed, open to everyone We are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting a workshop facilitated by artist Jill Laudet. Jill invites you to embrace community, mutuality and unity in this collaborative workshop in connection to her recent project ‘Decent homes for all’ which will be included in our upcoming publication entitled ‘Utility.’ Attendees will work collaboratively to create a fabric banner, exploring themes of care and community in the form of a communal art installation. The finished banner will be exhibited at our publication launch night alongside other works featured in ‘Utility’. We will provide a selection of fabrics, trimmings, sewing equipment and templates for motifs, but we ask attendees to bring any samples of fabric or possible embellishments that they would like to incorporate into the banner! More workshops and information about the ‘Utility’ publication launch night to be released on our Instagram @the.etchcollective soon, so tuned for those! <3 Please do let us know if you are unable to attend. See you there.
