About EINTOPF: THE BLEED The Bleed is an independent artists’ collective that has gradually taken shape in Berlin since 2017. Eight artists form the core of the project, combining their own artistic practices with a shared commitment to the independent art scene. Our work spans a wide range of media and visual languages, from painting, illustration and street art to mixed media, collage, risograph, screen printing and pixel art. This diversity is precisely the starting point for EINTOPF: THE BLEED. Like an Eintopf , a stew in which different ingredients come together, the exhibition brings together different biographies, techniques, influences, temperaments and artistic positions. Each retains its own character, and it is precisely from this diversity that something shared emerges. The Bleed is much more than a group of artists. Over the years, a network of exhibitions, collaborations, events and encounters has developed. Since 2017, we have presented and supported more than 150 artists and organised over 60 solo and group exhibitions, as well as concerts, readings, drawing sessions, workshops and other formats. The history of our spaces began even before The Bleed collective itself was formed. Let It Bleed opened its doors in 2011 on Wiener Straße in Kreuzberg, before later moving to Oranienstraße, where it remains today. Over the years, this space became the starting point and meeting place for the collective. In 2024, the project expanded with the opening of The Bleed Berlin on Wrangelstraße, followed by The Bleed Athens in 2025. Our spaces are simultaneously galleries, places of sale and meeting points: places where art can be shown, discovered, purchased and directly supported, but also where collaborations, new ideas and connections between artists and audiences can emerge. With EINTOPF: THE BLEED, we want to present at Galerie KungerKiez both our individual works and the collective project behind them: its artists, its spaces and the network that has developed over the years.
