This solo exhibition by sculptor Emma Hunter entangles two bodies of work created seven years apart, before and after giving birth. About While all bodily in nature, the latter works express her physical and emotional lived experiences of matrescence – the process of becoming a mother – with some sculptural forms becoming vehicles for cathartic release and healing. Emma Hunter is based between Edinburgh and London. Her artistic practice has focused around sculpture as a way to render ideas and experiences of the embodied in material form. This exhibition was made possible by funding from the Henry Moore Foundation. Read more Toggle Sculpture Audio / Sound
