RSVPPhotography exhibition expanding the 2018 Luso-Graphic Photophonies project to a global artistic dialogue across cultures and territories. About Perve Galeria presents, from September 10 to October 24, 2026, the exhibition "Global Photophonies", conceived as the second volume of the "Luso-Graphic Photophonies" project, which was presented in 2018 at Casa da Liberdade – Mário Cesariny. Building upon the research developed around the Lusophonies Collection, initiated in 1999 by the Perve Multimedia Collective, this new exhibition broadens its horizon to foster an artistic dialogue of a global scale. Curated by Carlos Cabral Nunes, the exhibition brings together works by Sérgio Santimano, José Chambel, Sérgio Guerra, Renée Gagnon, Tor Seidel, Mário Macilau, Bogdan Gulyay, Ricardo Rangel, Dear Anuska, João Artur da Silva, and Fernando Roza d'Oliveira, establishing connections across different generations, geographies, and sensibilities. Photography emerges as the central element of a dialogue among cultures, memories, and territories. Ranging from documentary record to poetic expression, the featured works reveal diverse ways of viewing and interpreting the world, highlighting the image's capacity to preserve experiences, evoke memories, and create new possibilities for reading reality. While the first project focused on the universe of the Lusosphere, "Global Photophonies" now expands this investigation, bringing together distinct latitudes and cultural contexts. The diversity of the participating artists constructs a visual cartography where distinct images and experiences find points of contact. More than just a photography exhibition, "Global Photophonies" proposes a space for encounter and reflection, where each image asserts itself as a voice and each perspective contributes to a plural narrative about the contemporary world. Thus, the exhibition reaffirms Perve Galeria's mission to promote dialogue among artists, cultures, and territories through art. Read more Toggle Photography
