The stunning surroundings and extraordinary acoustic of the Mountain View Grand Resort’s Crystal Ballroom make it the perfect venue to experience the dreamy textures, impressionistic colors and evocative harmonies of Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel, and the pure Romantic virtuosity of Camille St. Saens. Join these world-class performers for what is sure to be an unforgettable evening. About the Seating : Tables accommodate 10 people. We will assign you to a table or kindly convey any preferences and table configurations with your ticket purchase, or email director@northcountrychamberplayers.org at time of reservation. Please know that during the concert portion of the evening, some may prefer to move their chairs to better enjoy the performance, or shift to concert style seating available. Ticketing : Tickets are processed with meal choices via Eventbrite at $150 per ticket. Purchase a Table: The cost for a table (ten guests) is $1500. A table can be secured outside of Eventbrite. In the event you need to cancel: While Gala Fundraiser Tickets are not refundable, they are transferrable. Simply notify director@northcountrychamberplayers.org if you would like to transfer your ticket(s) to someone else. How the Evening will Flow: Doors to the Crystal Ballroom will open at 5:00; enjoy the company, try the signature event cocktail/mocktail KIR ROYALE and peruse the raffle and silent auctionitems. At 6pm the concert will begin followed by dinner. The evening will end with raffle drawings. Fritz and Eleonore Kramer Award for the Advancement of Music Education in the North Country This year’s award recipient will be honored at the North Country Chamber Players Annual Gala on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at the Mountain View Grand Resort and Spa in Whitefield. 2026 Award Recipient: Barbara Kunz, Music, Band, Chorus Teacher, Bethlehem Elementary School Barbara Kunz has demonstrated exceptional dedication to the Education and Outreach programs of the North Country Chamber Players, profoundly impacting countless youth throughout the North Country. Since 2011, she has coordinated and warmly welcomed the musicians of the North Country Chamber Players at Bethlehem Elementary School, ensuring meaningful and enriching experiences for students. As the Players have evolved toward collaborative models—bringing multiple schools together and offering intensive Band Program Workshops—Barbara has emerged as an integral peer leader. Further, she consistently encourages students to take advantage of the Chamber Players’ free summer lesson programs, expanding access to high-quality musical instruction and inspiring continued artistic growth. Fritz and Eleonore Kramer Fritz Kramer was a celebrated pianist, musicologist, composer and lecturer. He performed with many of the giants of the 20th century, including violinists Yehudi Menuhin, Zino Francescatti and Henryk Szeryng, actress and singer, Ilona Massey, and composer, Kurt Weill. Dr. Kramer presented lectures, courses and productions for the New York Philharmonic Society, the Wagner Festival in both Bayreuth, Germany and Seattle, WA, and performed at festivals in Vienna, Salzburg, Zurich and Edinburgh. From 1965 until his passing in 1988, he served as Professor of Musicology, Music History and Music Literature at the Manhattan School of Music. His wife, Eleonore, dedicated much of her later life to celebrating and preserving her husband’s legacy of outstanding musical performance and educational accomplishments, and bequeathed a substantial endowment to the North Country Chamber Players so they might continue their extensive education and outreach programs, in perpetuity. Fritz and Eleonore spent many happy summers together in Sugar Hill, New Hampshire, which also serves as their final resting place, together. About the Flowers: the centerpieces will be created by our friends at the White Mountain Garden Club sharing the bounties of native flora, many from the gardens of friends of the North Country Chamber Players.
