About To mark the opening of the gallery season, Schlieder Contemporary presents the third solo exhibition of Dutch artist Hilde Trip, featuring new artworks made from natural materials. Hilde Trip’s work unfolds at the intersection of nature, art-historical reference, and a contemporary visual language. Her starting point is found in natural materials such as dandelions, seeds, feathers, and leaves, which she gathers, dries, and preserves herself in rhythm with the seasons. Through a careful process of ordering and reassembling, she transforms these ephemeral found objects into enduring art objects and installative works. Her visual language combines the delicacy of organic materials with a precise, almost architectural structure. The result is a body of work marked by quiet concentration and clear composition — contemporary natural still lifes that invite reflection on transience, memory, and the possibility of permanence.
