In Her Gestures: A Solo Exhibition by Tamara Kostochko

Tamara Kostochko’s first major solo exhibition in Europe brings together 18 paintings and 4 works on paper exploring inner energy, gesture and women’s self-expression. About NauART presents In Her Gestures, Tamara Kostochko’s first major solo exhibition in Europe, featuring 18 paintings and 4 works on paper from several series created in recent years. Based in Barcelona, Kostochko combines academic training in art and design with an intuitive approach to painting. Her practice explores the relationship between inner experience and its expression through the body, gaze and gesture. Human figures meet abstraction and botanical motifs. Complex gradients, layers of colour and pastel textures convey inner energy, while gestures give it visible form. The female figure emerges through self-expression, strength and the freedom to shape one’s own life. Kostochko’s work has previously appeared in group exhibitions in Rome, Turin and Barcelona, including projects during Rome Art Week and Turin Art Week. In 2026, her paintings were included in MEAM Hall: 8th edition at the European Museum of Modern Art in Barcelona. Opening reception: 30 October 2026 at 18:30. Exhibition visits: 31 October to 14 November, Monday to Saturday, 17:00–20:00. Closed on Sundays. Admission to both the opening and the exhibition is free.
