About "INTIMATE IMAGINARY" is a solo exhibition by Vera Del Pilar Stigliano featuring a selection of paintings. The opening reception takes place on Saturday, October 17, at 5:30 PM. The exhibition is presented by Jelmoni Studio Gallery. Through this exhibition, visitors can discover the intimate world of Vera Del Pilar Stigliano, who describes each of her works as a self-portrait. Immersed in a suspended atmosphere, her paintings weave together fairy-tale narratives with subtle irony, and parody with a playful lyricism. The works on display offer a sensitive pictorial message that bridges two worlds often viewed as contradictory: Western culture and Eastern tradition. Her painting commands great interest not only for its engagement with the complex cultural evolution of China but also for the profound knowledge of cultural and art history it reflects. All of this invites the viewer to focus on Vera's enigmatic and personal universe. Indeed, her works tell stories as if each painted image were a page from a book. The deepest satisfaction we can derive from a painting is its ability to evoke emotion. This is precisely the realization that grows upon us as we contemplate the works by Vera Del Pilar Stigliano selected for this exhibition; her art fosters an exchange of experiences while simultaneously bringing new stories to life.
