Juan Muñoz

Juan Muñoz was an artist who established an ongoing dialogue with the history of art. His work includes references to different periods, particularly the Renaissance and Baroque. The Museo del Prado was one of his principal sources of inspiration. His work explores theatricality, illusionism and architecture as expressive resources, influenced by artists from Parmigianino to Goya.
