Metaphysical

A group exhibition exploring the relationship between the physical world and the unseen dimensions of experience. About bG Gallery presents Metaphysical, a group exhibition exploring the relationship between the physical world and the unseen dimensions of experience. Presented alongside Lara Kempke's Spiritus Animales, the exhibition invites encounters with memory, intuition, transformation, and the unknown. Metaphysical begins with the possibility that what we see is only part of what exists. Familiar forms become openings into unfamiliar territory: objects carry traces of absent lives, figures suggest shifting identities, and imagined spaces challenge the boundaries of everyday perception. Across distinct artistic approaches, the exhibition asks how art can give form to experiences that resist explanation. In dialogue with Spiritus Animales, the group exhibition extends an inquiry into the presence we sense within creatures and things. Together, the exhibitions invite viewers to consider how imagination animates matter—and how an artwork can make something unseen feel present.
