The concert opens with the lively Capriccio Italien , inspired by the streets and ceremonies of Rome. Next, the breathtaking Violin Concerto showcases the artistry of rising star Charlotte Spruit , combining technical brilliance with expressive passion. The evening concludes with the thrilling Symphony No. 4 , a powerful journey from tension to triumphant celebration. About the Soloist Violinist Charlotte Spruit is a Classic FM Rising Star and Gramophone One to Watch, acclaimed for her energetic and expressive performances. She has won top prizes at the Leipzig Bach Competition, performed at venues including the Concertgebouw and Berlin’s Boulez Saal, and made her debut album with Linn Records.
