Nathan Laube is renowned worldwide for his extraordinary technical brilliance, expressive depth, and captivating stage presence. Renowned worldwide for his extraordinary technical brilliance, expressive depth, and captivating stage presence, Nathan Laube is considered one of today’s leading organists. He is Associate Professor of Organ at the Eastman School of Music (Rochester, New York) and International Consultant in Organ Studies at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. His extensive career has taken him to many of the world’s most prominent concert halls, cathedrals, and organ festivals. Programme John Cook: Fanfare Hampton: Suite No. 2 for Organ & Lullaby Willan: Introduction, Passacaglia & Fugue Rachmaninoff: Prelude in G minor Whitlock: Fantasie Choral No. 1 in D-flat Rachmaninoff: Prelude in C-sharp Minor Franz Liszt: Les Préludes – Poème Symphonique d’après Lamartine: “Méditations Poétiques” This recital forms part of our Organ Centenary Series , celebrating 100 years of Liverpool Cathedral’s magnificent Willis Organ . Across the season, six world-class recitalists will honour this remarkable milestone with specially curated programmes.
