Panama Pavilion 2026: Tropical Hyperstition

The Panama Pavilion at the 2026 Venice Art Biennale is the result of a collaborative effort between artists, curators and institutions committed to positioning Panamanian art internationally. About The exhibition “Tropical Hyperstition” is presented by artists Antonio José Guzmán and Iva Jankovic (Messengers of the Sun) and curated by Ana Elizabeth González and Mónica E. Kupfer. This national project is organized by the Ministry of Culture of Panama, Museo del Canal Interoceánico de Panamá, Fundación Ciudad del Saber and Fundación Arte y Cultura, together with cultural partners supporting Panama’s presence at the Venice Biennale.
