RSVPParadox Loom is an evolving walk-in art labyrinth in Berlin-Wedding – a handcrafted immersive installation of light, sound, unusual materials and hidden spaces. About Paradox Loom is an evolving immersive art installation by Berlin-based collective Karmanoia. At its centre is a handcrafted, walk-in labyrinth that visitors experience with their whole body rather than simply observing from the outside. Moving through narrow passages, hidden spaces and unexpected structures, visitors crawl, climb, feel and explore their way through a world of light, sound, unusual materials and analogue technology. There is no prescribed route and no screen guiding the experience – the focus is on curiosity, perception and the physical encounter with the space. The labyrinth continues to grow and change over time, making Paradox Loom a living installation rather than a finished exhibition. Created by artist and Karmanoia founder Tim Henrik Schneider together with a team of craftspeople and creatives, the project draws on more than 20 years of experience developing immersive, walk-in art environments in Berlin.
