Performance: À Mesa

From its inception as a collaboration between Stamika Collective and CiReine, to its desire to reflect the richness of a diverse, grassroots art scene in the international city of Lisbon, the show is inherently about collaboration and interdependence. It does not simply represent community — it sets the stage for real-time exchange, support, and friction to develop. In a world where dialogue and co-creation are needed more than ever, "À Mesa" focuses on what brings us together, and what greater whole is made by the sum of our parts. The installation evolves as a shared landscape. A central table grounds the space, with artworks spilling across its surface, underneath, and onto the floor beyond. Some works emerge from collaboration; others are positioned to spark dependency or tension. Boundaries between individual territories blur — pieces intertwine, sometimes overlapping, sometimes relying on each other for meaning. Open sections of the table allow for ongoing additions and rearrangements. Sound pulses through the installation at specific points, shaping the space and the experience. Differences between practices are left intact. The installation reveals where connections are strong and where they stay unfinished — compiling distinct threads of the Lisbon art scene without blending them into one story. It encourages presence, connection, and the valuing of every authentic contribution. Read more Toggle Performance / Live Art
