Local duo Poi Rogers is back at Kuumbwa Jazz with special guest Grey DeLisle with Eddie Clendening & The Blue Ribbon Boys. Saturday, April 25th 7pm show Poi Rogers is back at Kuumbwa Jazz to celebrate the release of their second album. Santa Cruz locals and national award winning musicians Carolyn Sills and Gerard Egan's unique take on American roots music blends western swing, Hawaiian steel guitar and Americana. They are both inductees in the Sacramento Western Swing Hall of Fame and one of them has been named the Academy of Western Artists Female Vocalist of the Year. They'll be joined by the great David Roda on drums to celebrate this new album release. www.poirogers.com Grey DeLisle is a Grammy winning singer/ songwriter who is known as the most prolific voice actress in American animation history, having performed over 1500 cartoon voices since 1996. Her current release 'The Grey Album' has been called “a perfect throwback to the golden age of Nashville songbirds” by Pop Matters.
