In-person events made to share the processes used by freelancers, founders and teams. Design is loaded with unrealistic expectations and with so much emphasis on output we are building communities that embrace the process of creativity. Our speakers will focus on their approach to professional life including career journeys and client projects helping you pick–up insightful takeaways for future wins! Speakers Speakers have been curated by Hey Designerin, a Berlin-based community for FLINTA freelance creatives started by Weronika from Willda design studio. They regularly meet on and offline to co-work, share advice, resources and real talk about freelance life, no gatekeeping or competition. Henrike Ott Henrike Ott is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Berlin with a passion for everything related to rap and music in general. After studying communication design, she began working as a graphic designer in the fields of corporate design and corporate publishing. She supports artists and institutions in developing their brand identity, helps NGOs communicate their causes, and illustrates for magazines and blogs. Her clients include JUICE Magazine, Native Instruments, the Berlin Music Commission, and Terre des femmes. Since 2020, she has been part of the team behind the blog series 365femalemcs.com as an illustrator. At the end of 2024, Henrike published a book about underground rap music together with photographer Bart Spencer. https://www.design-ott.de/ Penny Blackmore Penny Blackmore is a Berlin-based business and sales specialist with over a decade of experience helping companies and freelancers develop in a meaningful way. Her sales training clients are companies in the from the startup, digital product, innovation, and tech space, as well as high-performing freelancers. Penny has worked with clients ranging from Twitter to Tetra Pak in locations across Australia, Europe, and the US. Rather than treating profit or growth as the default measure of success, Penny helps clients build lives and businesses rooted in integrity, sustainability and awareness. She is a life-first business practitioner. Expect super nice furniture and all the equipment you need for serious work. All in the heart of Neukölln. Tickets Admission tickets are available now but with a limited number available per event we reccommend booking early. If you miss out make sure to check–in regularly because if anyone isn't able to attend we will make all returns available on a first come, first serve basis.
