Qatar is set to construct a national pavilion on the leafy grounds of Giardini, one of the Venice Biennale’s main exhibition venues.
Qatar's first participation in the Venice Biennale, presenting from a newly established permanent pavilion in the Giardini designed by architect Lina Ghotmeh. Curators: Tom Eccles, Ruba Katrib. Commissioner: Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani
