RÉVOLUTION! – Local outsider artists reinterpret French masters, forging bold Singaporean voices through fearless dialogue. RÉVOLUTION! – A Fools’ Dialogue brings together twenty local artists who are a little wild and very creative! Each one takes inspiration from a famous French artwork… but does it their own way. Here, ideas mix, rules are broken, and art is transformed. Inspired by France but not intimidated, these artists invent their own Singaporean stories, like a big conversation between the past and today. Revolutions begin when “fools” dare to speak and share ideas. Sometimes, it takes courage not to follow the rules, just like the French artists who changed art forever. Today, artists in Singapore are experimenting, trying new things, and imagining boldly. This exhibition shows how they are creating their own path, full of creativity and confidence!
