Experience iconic video game soundtracks and orchestral favorites performed live. A welcoming, immersive concert for all. Bringing together orchestral tradition and the sound worlds of video games, this program invites a wide audience to share in a unique musical experience — from longtime concertgoers to gamers and beyond. Santa Monica Symphony Pola Benke, conductor Program Orchestral Favorites Modest Mussorgsky (arr. Maurice Ravel) – Night on Bald Mountain Frédéric Chopin (arr. Sean Dixon) – Nocturne, Op. 9 No. 2 Edvard Grieg – Suite No. 1 from Peer Gynt Intermission Music from Video Games From The Witcher 3 – Piotr Musiał, The Slopes of the Blessure From Super Mario & The Legend of Zelda – Koji Kondo, The Plumbers Suite From Minecraft – Daniel Rosenfeld, Alpha Suite From God of War III – Gerard Marino, Suite This program offers a rare opportunity to experience these soundtracks performed live by a full orchestra. A welcoming, immersive, community-centered event for all audiences — guests are welcome to come in costume or cosplay, if they wish, though it is not required. This concert is free as part of the Santa Monica Symphony’s commitment to presenting accessible performances for the community, and we warmly welcome donations to support future programs HERE . Parking Info Civic Center Parking Structure (4th St. & Olympic Blvd.) Please allow 10-15 minutes to walk to Barnum Hall. ADA Accessible Parking Entrance on Olympic Blvd. between 4th St. & Lincoln Blvd. Please note this ticket does not guarantee late entry, as seating is open and first-come, first-served. We strongly recommend arriving early. Doors open at 6:00 PM.
