RegisterAn afternoon of insight and discussion around writing for television, curated by Hooley Theatre in partnership with NWN and Gala Durham. This event is aimed at people with experience writing for the stage who would like to develop their work for the screen. TV writers and industry professionals will discuss the commonalities and differences that exist between writing for the stage and the screen and offer advice on how most effectively to navigate those transitions. You will have a chance to meet other writers and to put your questions to industry experts. Speakers at the event include BBC Development Producer Esther Jackson-Burton; screenwriter, playwright and consulting producer Ben Tagoe; Creative Director at FilmNation Kirstie Macdonald; and writer and researcher Emma Nuttall.
