Wisdom, mystery and hidden knowledge. Taking its cue from the owl's extraordinary senses and ancient symbolism, Silent Owl brings together Unprimed Collective and guest artists. About Silent Owl | Unprimed Collective and Guests Formed by alumni of Turps Art School, Unprimed Collective presents its sixth group exhibition, Silent Owl , at The Department Store in Brixton. Bringing together members of the collective and invited guest artists, the exhibition features 33 international contemporary artists working across painting and sculpture, celebrating a rich diversity of artistic approaches and perspectives. Taking place over Halloween weekend, the exhibition takes its title from the owl, a creature long associated with wisdom, mystery, heightened perception and hidden knowledge. From abstraction to figuration, Silent Owl offers an opportunity to encounter a broad range of contemporary painting and sculpture, bringing distinct artistic voices together in a lively, artist-led exhibition.
