The Shasta College Symphonic Band Presents "Larry's Favorites!"

What name shares a letter with ‘living legend’ and ‘lecturer of laudable loquacity’? Larry! It’s a momentous occasion on the Shasta College campus — after more than forty years at the lectern, our beloved Dr. Larry Grandy, instructor and conductor extraordinaire, is retiring at the end of this semester. In his honor, the Symphonic Band that he conducted for so many years will present a double May concert of some of his favorites, including the Kopetz fantasy on Waltzing Matilda , Carter’s Overture for Winds , and even some arrangements of The Beatles for wind band (because how could we not?), all under the baton of our esteemed maestro Dr. Jeff Specht.
