TITE, the Trans Image/Trans Experience Film Festival, presents the Irish launch of two searing novels by international trans talents. Jaw Filler by Maz Murray and Charlie Markbreiter follows a transgender detective whose missing persons investigation leads to a virtual reality commune, led by a charismatic transfluencer and bankrolled by a mysterious tech company. Persona by Aoife Josie Clements sees a trans woman discover internet porn of herself she has no memory of making, only to find herself led to an unimaginably deeper evil. Join us in MoLI where authors and TITE alumni Aoife Josie Clements ( Castration Movie Anthology ) and Maz Murray ( Principal Boy ) will be in conversation with author Sam Furlong. Aoife Josie Clements is a Canadian writer, musician and actress. She has been making music for more than a decade under the name Ravine Angel, and composed music for, as well as acting in and coproducing, Louise Weard’s CASTRATION MOVIE series of films. Maz Murray is an artist who makes films, writing, performances and things. They had their first institutional solo show at Focal Point Gallery in 2024. He’s currently working on a collaborative performance, PLOT HOLE, developed while an awardee at Studio Voltaire. S am Furlong 's first book of poetry, Crowd Work, was published by Macha Press in 2025. Their fiction is in The Pig’s Back and The Frustrated Writers’ Group’s second anthology. They were selected for Poetry Ireland’s Introductions 2023. They are the Managing Editor of Frustrated Writers’ Group. This event is supported by the UCD Centre for Gender, Feminisms and Sexualities and the National Talent Academy of Film and TV Drama, an initiative of Screen Ireland/Fís Éireann, managed by Ardán.
