RegisterAccompanying program of the exhibition Himmel auf Erden – An meine liebste Fußhaut
A Nourishing Practice by Jeanne Schmidt – Art Educator Sweaty, smelly, cold—or sexy and sensual? What comes to mind when you think about your feet? When was the last time you truly noticed them, without judging? The accompanying workshop to the exhibition Feeding Foot invites participants to explore their own feet through drawing, to distort and stage them, and to consider them as sensory organs and expressive media. What cultural influences shape our thoughts and feelings about this often-overlooked body part? How does the experience change when attention is directed to its sensory and creative potential? And what ideas and questions are sparked by the works shown in the exhibition? What to expect: After a brief, refreshing cleansing, you will get to know your feet as artistic tools. This process will result in a personal foot portrait that you can take home. Dates: Saturday, April 4, 2026, 3–6 PM Sunday, April 12, 2026, 2–5 PM Saturday, April 18, 2026, 3–6 PM Registration requested: feedingfoot@posteo.de Jeanne Schmidt is a freelance art educator.
