Join Brittany Lopez Burton, a local artist and teacher of monthly collage workshops, Join us for a phone-free evening dedicated to exploring the endless possibilities of collage. This hands-on event is perfect for anyone eager to dive into the world of mixed media, discover new techniques, and connect with fellow art enthusiasts. Absolutely no experience needed! What to Expect: We’ll have multiple collage stations , each showcasing different artists and collage styles, including: Surrealist Collage Abstract Collage Painted Paper Collage Zine Creation Postcard Collage Art Textile and stitch Collage Ransom Note Style Collage Torn Collage Explore a variety of materials, from newspapers and magazines to fabric, paint, and more. Experiment with tearing, cutting, layering, and stitching to create your own one-of-a-kind artwork. Why Collage? Collage is not only a fun and expressive art form, but it also offers a wealth of mental and emotional benefits, including: Boosts Creativity: Encourages experimentation and out-of-the-box thinking as you work with a range of materials and techniques. Just bring your creativity and an open mind! Brittany will be available to offer guidance, tips, and inspiration throughout the evening, so you’ll have everything you need to make the most of your creative experience. Spaces are limited, so be sure to secure your spot! Please Note: This will be an evening of digital detox so we will be asking that you turn off your phone at the door for the duration of the event. Bring your own drinks and snacks to keep you going!
