RegisterBosnia and Herzegovina will be represented at the 61st Venice Biennale of Contemporary Art in 2026 with the project Domus Diasporica, authored by Mladen Bundalo and produced by the Museum of Contemporary Art of Republika Srpska.
The exhibition is curated by Isidora Živković, with Sarita Vujković serving as commissioner. Domus Diasporica grows out of Bundalo’s long-term artistic research on the idea of “home,” approached as a living entity shaped by history, instability, uncertainty, and contemporary social change. Drawing from personal experience and work abroad, the project reflects on identity, culture, belonging, and how we understand the world around us. Mladen Bundalo is an interdisciplinary artist, filmmaker, and author of Bosnian origin, currently based in Brussels. His work takes the form of psychogeographic journeys and autoethnographic explorations, engaging with themes of migration, diaspora, belonging, and values.
